The ATA-GB as an organisation is international, with affiliated groups from around the world and are always looking to meet and network with fellow practitioners for the betterment of Taekwon-Do.
We have close ties with the Young Brothers Taekwon-Do Associates and it’s founder and the Taekwon-Do pioneer Kong Young Il 9th Dan. We are also a member of the International Taekwon-Do Federation Union.
As an association, we frequently arrange and attend a variety of seminars, tournaments and events dedicated to furthering our own and our affiliate’s knowledge and appreciation of the art of Taekwon-Do.
This includes Instructor Development Courses (IDC) which are arranged throughout the year at a cost of around £10 per session for members and £15 per session for non-members. Each session covers a portion of the five Instructor Development Course (IDC) levels covering assistant class instructor to international instructor levels.

Through affiliation with the ATA-GB, clubs and smaller groups can arrange discounted insurance rates, along with equipment available at wholesale prices and discounts on our events and merchandise. Affiliated clubs are required to support the principles and spirit of our association’s constitution which is provided on joining us and is available on request.
